Polyester is a plastic product. It is useful for a while but it is difficult to recycle and never biodegrades so it will stay around landfills for ever, broken into tiny fragments of polyester, for insects and animals to absorb. Not good for the environment.
Polyester does a lot for the environment 1.)It is recycling 2.)It keeps you warm 3.)Anybody can buy polyester
Polyester is not biodegradable; it is a synthetic material that can take hundreds of years to decompose in the environment, contributing to plastic pollution. Recycling polyester is a more sustainable option to minimize its impact on the environment.
No polyester is not a good conductor of electricity, it is a pretty good insulator though.

Polyester is bad for the environment because it is a synthetic material made from non-renewable resources like petroleum. The production of polyester releases harmful chemicals and greenhouse gases into the environment, contributing to air and water pollution. Additionally, polyester is not biodegradable, so it contributes to the growing problem of plastic waste in landfills and oceans. Overall, the production and disposal of polyester have negative impacts on our planet's ecosystems and contribute to environmental degradation.
bad point: it is not a summer fabric. This means that it will not let your body breath and will leave sweat patches underneath your arms. Also, it expands when you put it in the washing machine- if 100% polyester. :) hope I answered your question. Sorry don't know any good points. :( sorry hopefully someone else will be able to answer that.
Polyester is not biodegradable and is made from non-renewable resources like petroleum. Its production releases harmful chemicals and consumes a lot of energy and water, contributing to pollution and greenhouse gas emissions. When polyester garments are washed, they release microplastics into the water, further harming the environment.
Prison clothes are typically made out of a durable and low-cost material such as polyester or a polyester-cotton blend. The material is chosen for its ease of maintenance and durability in a prison environment.
polyester fibers are formed from a chemical reaction between an acid and alcohol.
Probably the most important way that polyester is better than cotton is that it does not shrink in the drier, unlike cotton; however, cotton is generally softer than polyester.
Polyester is water resistant. It is better than other materials (like nylon). I have worn pants with polyester on the outside for skiing and is very good for the snow. Make sure to wear layers if u go skiing. :)
Snooping as usual I see!
