My duo therm runs only on 12 volt power. When the RV is plugged in the converter is charging the battery to power anything on the 12 volt system. However, you need the full 12 volts to the furnace or it will not ignite. The fan needs to reach full speed for the sail switch to work and if you have low voltage it will run too slow. Check the volts with the fan running. It may be taking too much for the fan to operate and doesn't leave enough to ignite the furnace. You could also hook up a battery charger to the battery to make sure you have full power and try it. If that works then you have either a bad converter or a bad battery.
When the firing pin strikes the primer, a combustible mixture ignites and the flame goes through the flash hole to ignite the powder.
It is not the fuel that ignites it is the fumes. Any spark or flame will ignite the fumes.
Natural gas ignites at a temperature of around 1,076 degrees Fahrenheit.
Gunpowder will ignite somewhere between 300 to 350° C
Yes, the sparkplug ignites allowing the the gas to ignite.
It ignites the compressed air/fuel mixture.
A spark ignites a fire when it provides enough heat to ignite a flammable material, such as wood or paper, causing it to burn and release more heat, which sustains the fire.
The air in the combustion chamber(s) have been compressed hard enough to make it so hot that the fuel will self ignite when injected.
Hydrogen can ignite when the concentration of oxygen in the air is between 4% and 75%. Below 4%, there is not enough oxygen for ignition, and above 75%, the mixture becomes too rich to ignite.
The sparks plugs fire and ignite the fuel in a Gasoline engine, and compression compresses the fuel until it ignites in a Diesel engine.
The issue could be with the igniter, gas valve, or sensor. It is recommended to have a professional technician inspect and diagnose the problem to ensure proper and safe functioning of your central heater.
There's no reason why it should. Netherrack ignites when fire is used on it, 'charge' from levers or redstone circuitry does not ignite it.
