Cotton is a good choice for quilting. It offers durability and is easy to maintain. Stains are easily removed as well and the material is ever so soft.
100% cotton is more durable than cotton and polyester blends because it less stretchy and therefore less likely to rip.

With the higher polyester concentrations the care becomes easier. High temperature laundering can be undertaken if required.
