This will depend entirely on where you intend to use the silver.
If you are using it in "formal public space" for example a living room, or dinning room and are using the silver as the dominant colour in your decorating scheme, say in a feature wall, window treatments or fabrics for furniture, use dark colours, like navy, ox blood, forest green or even a deep saturated purple. I would avoid black (unless you are very confident in the choice) as it is a bit overwhelming when used in decorating as anything but an accessory colour. This will give you a very formal and elegant look.
If you are using the Silver in a "personal space" such as a bedroom or bathroom, then pick colours you like personally. I once did a bedroom for a client with a burgundy feature wall, pink walls and silver linens, window treatments and carpeting. It was a wonderful compromise for a couple who wanted a room that was elegantly feminine and yet not so "girlie" the husband couldn't live with it.
If you only want to use the silver as an accent, very nearly any colour will do will in combination.
For clothing, silver is a wonderful accent colour with any of the deep jeweled or saturated colours as well as black. It is less effective with pastel colours.
Colors that complement silver are typically cool tones like white, gray, black, and blue. These colors create a sleek and sophisticated look when paired with silver. Additionally, pastel colors like soft pink or lavender can also work well with silver for a more feminine and elegant aesthetic.
Most of Escher's work was black and white. But he did a great deal of work with gray as well, to avoid the strict contrast between the two colors.
Colors that complement lilac and silver include soft pastels like mint green or pale yellow, which can create a harmonious and serene palette. Additionally, deeper colors such as navy blue or charcoal gray can provide a striking contrast while maintaining elegance. White can also work well, adding brightness and freshness to the combination.

Bright colors look great. If your really dark, a normal black and gray tat is hard to see, lighter skinned it can work but I would go for colors for you. It really brings out the work.
by mixing a black lab and a goldish gray labYou can also get a silver lab by breeding a chocolate lab and a white lab but this may not work because the silver trait is heredity.Or by mixing a lab with a weimaraner
Colors that pair well with camouflage typically include earthy tones such as browns, greens, and tans, which enhance the natural look. Neutrals like black, white, and gray can also complement camo patterns, providing a balanced contrast. Additionally, muted colors such as navy or olive can work well without overpowering the camouflage. Avoiding bright colors helps maintain the intended aesthetic of camouflage.
An orchid shirt pairs well with neutral colors such as beige, gray, or white pants, creating a balanced and sophisticated look. For a bolder choice, navy blue or dark green pants can complement the vibrant hue of the orchid shirt. Additionally, light pastel colors like soft pink or mint can also work well for a fresh, spring-inspired outfit.
