There are a few ways that I manage my anger.
1. Sometimes, I will be able to just think about it...not act upon it.....and its a nice way for me to blow off steam. It may sound like a bad idea because you're envisioning it, but it is a lot better than causing physical harm to anyone, including yourself.
2. MUSIC MUSIC MUSIC. When I am angry, depressed, happy, sad, scared....I listen to music for any of the situations and after a bit of that I feel a whole lot better. It will probably work with you too. Music can speak on countless levels to our souls.
3. Go ahead and cry. Suprisingly it will make you better.
4. If you feel like you want to punch someone in the face, then punch someone like a pillow or scream into it. Things like this calm you down.
5. If it is when your favorite movie like me when I found out that New Moon wasnt come out till November when it was soppose to come out in September scream yourself to sleep or(this is what i did) call the director and yell at them for half an hour till they change their mind(with me it did not work)
6.Count backwards from 10 to 1 and breathe deeply.
7. If you have a punching bag take it out on that. lol
If ur mad it's best to lock yourself in a room until u calm down
