The "bad" fuse is usually a burnt fuse and you can see that the filament has burnt/broken and does not pass power from one side to the other. In a fuseable link, the link wire is thinner than the wire that connects to it and will show burn marks.

In a 1997 Nissan Altima, the fuse for the power door and window is located in the fuse box, which is typically found under the dashboard on the driver's side. You can find the specific fuse for the power windows and doors by checking the fuse diagram, usually printed on the cover of the fuse box or in the owner's manual. Look for the fuse labeled "Window" or "Power Door" to check for any issues.

If you fold down the back seats and look through the opening with a flashlight you can see a T-handle attached to the back of the trunk to the right of the center. That has to be pulled in order to open a stuck trunk. There is no key hole on a 2005 Altima.

To locate the fuse for the power windows in a 1998 Nissan Altima, first, open the driver's side door and remove the fuse panel cover located beneath the dashboard. The fuse diagram, usually printed on the cover or in the owner's manual, will indicate the specific fuse for the power windows. Check the fuse for any signs of damage or a broken filament; if it's blown, replace it with a fuse of the same amperage. Always ensure the vehicle is turned off before inspecting or replacing fuses.
