A short/mini-skirt, depending on the length.
I think a skirt should be a little bit above the knees not to short but not to long. I think it needs to be well above the knees or it will look stupid!!!! like at least 3 inches above the knees or however short the school will allow.
The highest the hem should go is an inch or two above the knee.
Traditionally, the skirt should be at or below knee level. As some view a skirts hemline rising above the knee as being "suggestive" or "inappropriate", it is at the discretion of the parents and the school board.
A dress or skirt is definitely appropriate, but it should be longer than knee-length. There is no need for it to be ankle length.
A short skirt is a skirt that comes at the knees or even shorter above the knee
A maxi skirt should be up to your knee, but other people wear it where ever they want to, but it generally depends on how it looks on you and if it suits your figure.
There isn't an official length. I'd say any skirt that's between 2 and 7 inches above the knee would be considered a mini skirt. anything shorter would be a micro mini skirt.
That depends on how old you are. If you are over 20, a dress or skirt of respectable length (on or below the knee). Try and stick to neutral colours and try not to draw too much attention to yourself. If you're under 20, a dress or skirt can be above the knee, but not so short that it looks inappropriate.
to work it should be no shorter than the knee, but in public as short as you want
You need the loafers and the socks that are rolled down about 3 inches. The skirt should come below your knee.
A formal gown should be below the knee, where as a cocktail dress should come above the knee.
