BCF PET polyester, or Bulk Continuous Filament Polyester, is a type of synthetic fiber made from polyethylene terephthalate (PET). It is produced in long continuous strands, making it ideal for applications such as carpets and upholstery due to its durability, stain resistance, and ease of maintenance. BCF PET fibers are often used in residential and commercial flooring because they can withstand heavy foot traffic while maintaining their appearance. Additionally, this material is often favored for its cost-effectiveness and eco-friendly properties, as it can be recycled.
POLYESTER TERELYNE
No, PE is an abbreviation for polyethylene. The abbreviation for polyester (polyethylene terephthalate) is PET.
BCF Wolfratshausen was created in 1957.
PET (polyethylene terephthalate) is another name for polyester.
The BCF of 15 and 28 is 1.DON'T ASK WHY.
Polyethylene terephthalate (PET) fits the definition of a polyester so the name is redundant. I think PETP is simply an old abbreviation for PET.
"Tg" generally referes to the glass transition temperature of a polymer. For polyester ("PET"), the Tg is just under 70 degrees centigrade.
BCF stands for best cousins forever just like BFF but instead of friends, cousins
It depends on what you are looking for. Polyester, including PET polyesters are good for stains, you can get very bright vibrant colors from them. But, they are not good carpets for heavy traffic areas. Polyester is a less refined fiber and heat sets the cables at a lower temperature then nylon. This makes it more prone to matting with foot traffic. Nylon carpeting is great for high traffic rooms. It is very durable and as long as it has a good stain treatment is a great all around choice. If I were out looking for carpet, I would be looking for a nylon that is type 6,6. One that is BCF (bulk continuous filament) because they shed less. You can often find all this in a carpet priced the same as a polyester.
There are 1,000 thousand cubic feet (mcf) in one billion cubic feet (bcf). Therefore, 1 bcf is equal to 1,000 mcf. This relationship is often used in natural gas measurements.
PET stands for Polyethylene terephthalate. It's a high quality plastic resin in the polyester family. It is used widely in soft drink bottles.
