What is the best way to run away?

You need to really plan. It. Out. Run away during a time where you are off school for a long period of time. For example, the beginning of summer break. Dye your hair, change your clothes, give yourself a spray tan or make yourself paler, wear different makeup (if you're a girl), and make up a name to tell all the new people you meet in a new place so they don't associate you with the girl that ran away. Travel by train or taxi. Pay in cash. Throw away your cell phone. Save up at least 1,000 dollars. That should cover hotel for a week, and food. Go into a completely different state. The easiest part is leaving---the hardest part is staying that way.

I know running away is bad, so only run away if you have a legitimate reason like anyone who is abusing you, or bullying you to the point where you feel like running away. Don't run away because you have strict parents, or get teased a little at school. Make the right choices, and plan them well.

Get a backpacking backpack. Pack it with the warmest stuff you have, but not everything. be minimalistic, yet comfortable. pack matches and/or a lighter, some dry stuff that can be burned, food, water, twine/ string, a knife, a hatchet, a tent and sleeping bag, bug spray, and maybe some tooth picks to mark how to get back to camp. in all, the bag will weigh at the most 10 lbs. which is light
