1500=half ton 2500=3 quarter ton 3500=1 ton
I have a Vandura 2500, it means a half ton with a three quarter ton rating, stronger rear springs, lower rear end ratio,& bigger engine....
I do believe that the 1500 has a shorter body than the 2500 and 3500. Also engine sizes, I believe that the 1500 typically comes with a straight 6, the 2500 with a 350 v8 and the 3500 with either a 7.4v8 or a diesel.
*My 93' G2500 vandura has a 1 ton frame w/ 3/4 ton brakes.*
1000
1500 is a 1/4 ton, 2500 is a 1/2 ton.
The ECM on the Vandura 2500 is under the Driver's seat.
The hd has the 2500 suspension and frame, as well the hd comes with a 6.0L V8 engine borrowed from the 2500 as well
I believe a np241 came in a Sub. not sure if there is a difference between a 1500 and 2500.
1500 trucks are 1/2 ton, 2500 trucks are 3/4 ton, 3500 trucks are 1 ton. The differences are hauling/towing capabilities. Granted 2500's and 3500's have more powerful engines, a 1500 can be made into a 2500 with few modifications.
2500
the 2500s have higher torque, a bigger frame and are more heavy duty overall
Yes. Usually the frame and suspension are built heavier in the 2500. which year are you meaning??
assuming they are the same length there is not difference in them.
There are to sizes 110"and 125".
