The size of bead thread you should use depends on the type of beads and the project you are working on. For small seed beads, size 0.15 to 0.20 mm thread is typically suitable, while larger beads may require thicker threads, such as size 0.25 to 0.35 mm. Additionally, consider the desired strength and flexibility; nylon or polyester threads offer durability, while silk threads provide a more traditional finish. Always check the bead hole size to ensure the thread fits comfortably.
To determine the size of a thread, you can use a thread gauge tool or a caliper to measure the diameter of the thread. The size is typically expressed in terms of the thread's pitch and diameter, which can help you identify the thread size.
Sewing by hand, I would use a Sharps Size 8
For a camera mount, you should use a screw size that matches the thread size of the camera mount. Common sizes for camera mounts are 1/4-20 and 3/8-16, which refer to the diameter and thread pitch of the screw. Make sure to check the specifications of your camera mount to determine the correct screw size to use.
Dufferin did not always use the same thread as a standard but it should be a 3/8 - 10.
To read thread size accurately, use a thread pitch gauge to measure the distance between threads. Match the gauge to the threads on the fastener to determine the size. Additionally, use a thread pitch chart to cross-reference the measurements for accuracy.
To add a bead clasp to your jewelry design, you can use a small bead with a hole large enough to fit your stringing material. Thread the string through the bead and tie a secure knot. This creates a stylish and secure closure for your jewelry design.
Beading thread is usually finer (thinner) and stronger than sewing thread. There are so many different kinds of sewing thread, it's hard to answer your question. Using the correct thread for the project is important in you want your work to last. You can get a sense of pride for a job well done.
One-piece cranks use 1/2" thread

Well from personal experiences I use wire for when Im using heavy beads or many beads that can make the necklace or braclet heavy. I use fishing string for light weight projects. Also remember that the crimp bead can also cut string so be carefull, if you don't pull it could fall apart while putting it on or wearing it. Bead on, good luck. SELAH!!!
Use a long stitch, with heavy thread, and a 16 or 18 size needle. That should do it!
The standard tripod thread size for most cameras is 1/4 inch-20. To ensure compatibility with different tripod accessories, you can use a tripod adapter or mount that can accommodate various thread sizes or use a quick release plate system that is compatible with your camera's thread size.
