would you believe , its called a 'quick unpick'
it comes in a case much like a mascara case. the actual unpicker pushes into the holder, and to use it you pull out the unit, reverse it and push it back in. then, you have a holder with the unpicker at the other ende to the holder.

The tool is called a seam ripper and is often included with sewing machines. You can also buy one at many fabric stores for under $5 US. Please be careful with this, as there is a sharp blade on the inside of the crescent and the tip is needle sharp; I've drawn blood from my fingers before pulling out stitches with a seam ripper and had to work very hard to not accidentally bleed on my fabric project.
A seam ripper is used to remove, or unpick, sewing stitches.

Stitches are a common medical procedure used to close wounds and cuts. They involve using a needle and thread to sew the edges of the wound together, which helps the skin heal and prevents infection. There are several types of stitches, including running stitches, lock stitches, and interrupted stitches. The type of stitch used will depend on the location and severity of the wound. After the stitches are placed, they usually need to be kept clean and dry for about a week. Then, the stitches are typically removed by a medical professional.
Long stitches are used for filling in larger areas of an embroidery design quickly, while short stitches are used for adding detail and texture to embroidery work. Mixing long and short stitches can create depth and dimension in the finished piece.
