For crocheting 2 yarns got me 8 blocks of 2 different colors but you probaly can get 10 if your yarn dont get into a huge knot because the one that got in a knot is gone and the other i still have some left. and this is only for single crochet and also i did 10 rows of one color and 10 of the other so i really matters, but if your doing ten rows and single crochet and two colors without knots you can probaly get 10rows

What is a weft knitted fabric?

Warp yarns are threaded on the loom and form the long-ways fibers. Weft yarns are woven in and out of the warp yarns side-to-side during the weaving process. The weft yarns tend to be the fluffier, larger, or more decorative yarns in the project, but this isn't always true.

What is melange fleece?

Melange is a property of yarn (thread) being used to make a specific fabric, either knitted (for example fleece, jersey or pique) or woven (for example linen, shirting etc). Yarns having this property are made of dyed fibers i.e. fibers are dyed in various colors, mixed and then twisted into yarns. Any fabrics made of such yarns are melange fabrics, either woven or knitted. Therefore, any fleece made of melange yarn(s) is a melange fleece. Common examples are knitted hood shirts available in "Heather Grey" color.

How are courses and wales related to filling yarns and warp yarns?

Courses and wales refer to the horizontal and vertical threads in a knitted fabric, respectively. Courses are the rows of stitches created by filling yarns, which run horizontally across the fabric, while wales are formed by warp yarns that run vertically. The interplay between these two types of yarns determines the fabric's texture, stretch, and overall structure, influencing its appearance and performance. Together, they create the foundational grid of knitted textiles.

What are the differences between worsted and woolen yarns in terms of their characteristics and uses, and how do these differences impact the quality of the final knitted or woven products?

Worsted yarns are smooth, strong, and have a tight twist, resulting in a more durable and less fuzzy fabric. They are often used for tailored garments and fine knits. Woolen yarns are softer, loftier, and have a more relaxed twist, creating a warmer and more insulating fabric. They are commonly used for cozy sweaters and blankets. The differences in yarn characteristics impact the final product's feel, drape, warmth, and appearance, influencing the overall quality of the knitted or woven item.
