If you have the SS, it's toward the back on the passenger side but its low in the engine compartment. It's kind of behind/underneath the alternator. It's very difficult to get at. I need to check mine out too but I think I'm going to have to take it somewhere.

how do you change a heater core on a 2003 ss Monte Carlo
This 1 was tricky. The reservoir is in the back part over the engine. You have to lean over your car (on the engine) to find it. Remove the cap and use a funnel or try to pour it in.
Yes
The Chevrolet Monte Carlo LS coupe has a curb weight of 3,340 pounds. General Motors produced the Monte Carlo from 1970-1988 and again from 1995-2007.
Well, if it is like my 2000 Monte Carlo, if you pop open the hood and stand by the passenger side and look down near the firewall you should see the power steering pump and the resevoir. Use a troublelight and you'll see it. To do any work on it, its best to remove the right front tire and you can access it from there. This is also how I had to replace my water pump when it went bad. The Einstein's at GM made it so I had to take all the bolts out of the power steering pump and move it just so I could get the water pump out.
