They are in the exhaust pipe system, Just start at the exhaust manifolds on the engine and work your way back to the muffler, There will be none after the muffler.
They are about 3 inches long and have 1 single wire going to them. I think there is 3 of them.
That would be the passenger side of the engine and it will be the first oxygen sensor that's screewed into the exhaust pipe on that side.
Usually bank 2 sensor 1 & 2 are right after the converter in the exhaust pipe.
I have a 2004 Silverado 4.3l engine, my questions is are all 4 02 sensors the same are they interchangeable
you might try www.haynes.com, these are the folks that have all the manuals for wiring etc.
No. Check the battery first. Then test for spark, fuel pressure, and test your coils.
where is the oxygen sensor in a 2004 astro van
were is the fuse located for the O2 sensor
It is behind the starter.
The intake air temperature sensor on a 2004 Silverado is located in the 5 wire MAF sensor coming from the air fiter box. It can be relocated by cutting and splicing the tan and black wires going to the MAF sensor.
Screew it out, and screew the new 1 in.
Unplug the electric connecter and then get a wrench that fits it and take it out of the exhaust pipe.
