After driving me crazy for two years I took on the task of locating this buzzer. It is a black box located on the left side of the radio area. It can be unplugged to get rid of the noise but that will leave all your chimes for headlight, keys in the ignition etc turned off. I located the wire lone wire that feeds this buzzer. There are 3 live wires feeding this box. One stays live all the time, the other two come live when the key is turned on. I made a correct assessment that the one that stays on after the key is turned off would be the one for the rest of the chimes such as headlight on since these need power when the key is off. So it left the two that powered up after the key turned on. I chose one of them, a purple wire and the buzzer stopped and everything else worked. Those of you who tried the fuse only approach soon learned that it disconnected the signal lights at the same time. my approach worked perfectly and I'm in heaven with that noise gone for good[ but alas may still have an airbag problem].Now having said all this you must understand why the buzzer is going off. It is an airbag sensor warning. You are first alerted by a blinking light just under the tack which is telling you there is a problem most likely with the airbag in the steering wheel. When that light burns out it reverts to the buzzer. So you can get rid of the buzzer by replacing the bulb, which will burn out again eventually again unless you fix the problem causing it to come on. I understand it may be an expensive fix and it also seems that it may happen as a continuous problem in these units. I elected to ignore the fix of the airbag [my decision not recommended], so as long as you realize that there may be an airbag not working than the permanent fix may help. So are you more concerned about your life or your money, that's the bottom line. It may prove to be a safer bet to fix the airbag for your protection. The one in the steering wheel is a common one to go. ....Cr
Warning lights are important to pay attention to and know warning lights. If seat belt lights flash, and an air bag light flash, it means there are problems with both parts.
