After cleaning the steel and glass, use JB weld to bond glass to Steel.

That's not going to work out very well for you.
replace brake line the damage to the line or if the jb weld gets into the line it will affect how the system works.
Probably some kind of epoxy since non porous, although they take forever to dry have great strength. Look at some JB Weld products.
