The Toyota Solara is no longer in production. It was discontinued in June 2009.
And the question is? ;) If you're asking if the rotors can be changed the answer is yes. If you're asking how to change the rotors the answer is almost as simple. 1. Jack the car up and place a jackstand underneath for safety 2. Remove road wheel(s) 3. Remove brake calipers (2 bolts each) 4. Suspend calipers by wire/rope/string, whatever you have so they aren't hanging by the hose. 5. Pull rotors off studs. They should just slide off easily. If the rears don't, be sure the parking brake is off (the brake shoe is integral to the rotor). 6. Reassemble in reverse order. If brake pads appear worn, you may as well replace them while you're in there. Cheers
To replace the rotors on a 2001 Toyota Solara, first, safely lift the vehicle and remove the wheel. Next, remove the caliper by unbolting it and sliding it off the rotor, then secure it to avoid strain on the brake line. Take off the old rotor by removing any retaining screws, if present, and slide the new rotor onto the hub. Finally, reattach the caliper, replace the wheel, and lower the vehicle before testing the brakes.
Where is my thermostat on a 1999 Toyota Solora .
No, it does not.
To replace the brake rotors on a 2001 Toyota Solara, first, safely elevate the vehicle and remove the wheel. Next, remove the brake caliper by unbolting it and then slide it off the rotor; support it to avoid tension on the brake line. Take off the old rotor, clean the hub surface, and install the new rotor, ensuring it sits flush. Finally, reattach the caliper, replace the wheel, and lower the vehicle before testing the brakes.
The v6 Toyota solara has a timing belt. Their 4 cyl engines have timing chains.
