I think you have problem with the blower resistor.
Please follow the procedure to check.
* remove the connector to the blower motor. * use voltmeter to check the voltage. * connect one probe to the ground and the other probe to the 3.0R/w of the motor supply. * turn on the the blower motor with dial, you should read supply voltage, 12Vdc. * if you have positive voltage at the 3.0R/w then you should check the blower resistor and blower switch. blower switch supplies battery negative to the blower motor through the blower resistor. if you need further help please just let me know.
There could be several reasons why the fan is not blowing cold or warm air in a 1999 Hyundai Elantra. It could be due to a faulty blower motor, a malfunctioning heater core, a clogged cabin air filter, or a problem with the heating and HVAC system. It is recommended to have the car inspected by a mechanic to determine the exact cause of the issue.
It was just a wire that was diconnected, go up under the dash board and reconnect it
for the ac/ heather blower moter it is 75 dollars ne and around 50 for a rebuilt
Many cars have a blower motor resistor which regulates the lower speeds. When this burns out the only setting that will work is the high setting. I suggest you check with your dealer about getting this part and its location on your car. I hope this helps you. Mark
The heater blower in a 2001 Hyundai XG300 is located on the passenger side of the engine. The blower resistor will be located on the firewall.
To replace the blower motor resistor on a 2001 Hyundai XG300, first disconnect the negative battery terminal to ensure safety. Then, locate the blower motor resistor, which is typically found near the blower motor under the dashboard on the passenger side. Remove any necessary panels for access, disconnect the wiring harness, and unbolt the resistor from its mounting. Install the new resistor by reversing the steps, reconnect the wiring, and test the blower settings to ensure proper function.
The blower motor on a Hyundai Tiburon is located inside the heating and air conditioning duct. Its job is to circulate the air in the car.
Sit in the front passenger seat. Scoot your feet forward on the floor until they hit something under the dashboard. If the AC stopped blowing air on your 2003 Toyota Echo, the blower fuse could be to blame. If the fuse is fine, it might be the blower resistor that needs to be replaced.
