The terms "matrix" and "vibe" are not interchangeable, as they refer to different concepts. A matrix typically refers to a structured framework or environment that organizes elements or data, while "vibe" denotes the atmosphere or emotional tone of a situation. Although both can influence one another—where a matrix can create a certain vibe and vice versa—they serve distinct purposes in communication and analysis.
Yes they are, but the two cables that are attached to the actuator are not. You will have to switch those out (very easy) as the Toyota cables are about 2" longer than the Vibe's. Toyota also used the same actuator in the 2009 Corolla, but be careful regarding the front right (passenger) because it is not interchangeable as the Corolla does not have a keyed entry on that door (and the Vibe and Matrix do). Just paid $100 for a used 2009 Corolla front left actuator at a junk yard and it works great in my 2009 Vibe. Hooray! Saved $160 on the part!
Yes. They are called "wheels". Rims are only part of a wheel.

Vibe rims do not fit the 2010 Matrix AWD. We bought wnter tires from a Vibe thinking that they did fit. However the bolt holes are offset so that you cannot mount the four holes on the studs. We eneded up buying four Matrix rims and put the tires on them. Vibe rims maybe fit other earlier Matrix models. They do not fit the 2010 AWD 2.4 litre Matrix.
It's been my experience that for the most part, these parts are interchangeable. As a matter of fact, there have been some parts that I've gotten significantly cheaper at the same auto parts store when buying the Toyota part for my '03 Vibe. The only time I recall there being any sort of issue was replacing the brake sensor switch (not sure if that's the exact part name). If I remember right, the auto parts store couldn't find the Pontiac part that supported cruise control, but was able to get the Toyota part. These vehicles were built as a partnership between Pontiac & Toyota which explains their similarities and the interchangeability of the parts.
A Toyota Matrix
VERY carefully....:)
Yes, General Motors produced the Pontiac Vibe in 2008. The Vibe was a compact hatchback that was part of a joint venture with Toyota, sharing its platform with the Toyota Matrix. The 2008 model year featured various trims and options, appealing to consumers seeking versatility and fuel efficiency. Production of the Vibe continued until 2010, when the Pontiac brand was discontinued.
$3 or so at any Toyota dealership. Ask for the wiper refill for a Matrix for the same year as your Vibe.
The engine in the Pontiac Vibe is a l.8 litre engine . It is the same engine you will find in the Toyota Corolla. Since the Vibe is very similar to the Toyota Matrix, I assume that the engines are similar as well.
I own a Vibe, and EVERYTHING I have read online or otherwise says NO. That doesn't mean it isn't possible, it just means nobody knows otherwise. Vibe is the GM version of the Toyota Matrix. Try the following links, from a Matrix site: http://matrixowners.com/?showtopic=12523 http://matrixowners.com/?showtopic=29644 http://matrixowners.com/?showtopic=41540 Any of the 3 methods should work for the Vibe.
The 2004 Pontiac Vibe is equipped with either a 1.8-liter inline-4 engine, known as the Toyota 1ZZ-FE. This engine is part of Toyota's ZZ family and was also used in several other models, including the Toyota Corolla and Matrix. The Vibe was a collaboration between Toyota and General Motors, which is why it shares this engine with Toyota vehicles.
