Usually the first year in a major model year change - for the Altima 2007+ - is when most of the defects are corrected, or at least known. For the Nissan Altima they are adding on value - signal mirrors on the 4cyl , not just the 6 cyl. - projector headlamps on the coupes, etc. The last year in a major model yr change is usually the most defect free.
