No. Is your check engine light(CEL) on? if so, go to a local parts store and they should run it for free. Could be something from the MAF might be dirty and need cleaning or one of your o2 sensors may need to be changed, or u could need to replace the ECU. if ur CEL is on, get the parts store to give u the error codes and that will tell u whats wrong.

Would Evap code p0446 cause a car stop idling?

The P0446 code indicates an issue with the Evaporative Emission Control System (EVAP), specifically related to the vent control circuit. While this code itself typically won't directly cause a car to stop idling, it can be a sign of an underlying issue that may affect engine performance. If there are additional problems with the fuel system or air intake, those could lead to rough idling or stalling. It's advisable to have the vehicle diagnosed by a professional to pinpoint the exact cause of the idling issue.

Turn off check engine lights for 2003 Toyota Matrix?

To turn off the check engine light on a 2003 Toyota Matrix, you can use an OBD-II scanner to read and clear the diagnostic trouble codes (DTCs) that triggered the light. Alternatively, you can disconnect the car battery for about 15 minutes to reset the system, but this may also erase other stored settings. If the light reappears, it indicates an ongoing issue that needs to be diagnosed and repaired. Always address the underlying cause to prevent further problems.
