Yes, you should be able to. If the sand is pretty soft, let the tyres down to 16 psi or so, using a tyre gauge. Carry 2 planks (4 are better) to put under the wheels, and another bit of wood to use as a base for the jack if you get stuck. Some soft-roaders get hot on sand so watch the temperature gauge. If you do get stuck, letting a bit more air out will help.

Pump up the tyres again when you finish, and give the underside of the car a good hosing with fresh water to get the salt off.
