Code P0302 is a misfire code on cylinder 2 which can be caused by a variety of reasons. The simplest is usually the spark finding a way to ground other than jumping the normal gap inside the cylinder, causing the needed combuston. On one Toyota that had this code (a Sienna Van) the problem was a very visible carbon line on the spark plug surface, which, when swapped for a new one and the igniter cleaned, solved the problem. Also, try swapping igniter coils around, or plugs, replacing spark plug leads if you have them. Other possible causes are blocked / defective injectors of course, or bad valves. You must clear the codes in between Tests too, of course. If the cylinder number changes at random, then possibly fuel contamination or fuel pressure / regulator may be to blame. Other possibles are always computer and/harness connectors of course. Hope this helps. Examine the parts carefully - sparks often leave tell tale signs. disconnect battery for 1 min
i have a 2007 carolla that has been fully services and the check engine light is still on. there is nothing wrong with it.. How do I get it off?
The ECU has detected a problem with the emissions system. Most auto parts stores will scan the ECU for free.
If the VSC flashing light comes on at the same time on your Toyota Corolla, then there might be a sensor issue, and if you have a warranty, have it back to the manufacturer.
Try unhooking your battery cables for a few minutes. That usually works for me.
I did not tighten the gas cap good....Sounds crazy but i have that several times...
check this out for the details http://www.usedcarexpert.co.uk/stats/Toyota/Corolla/1997-2000
Could be many reasons. If there is an check engine light, have the code pulled with a ODB2 scanner from any local garage. Reference that code with what it means and you have a better idea where to look to solve the problem.
how cheak the chassis number of "corolla altis"
No, but check with a Toyota dealer to make sure.
The Corolla could be shaking for many reasons. Start by checking the wheel bearings and brakes for wear. Then check the engine to see if it running rough, causing the shake.
