I don't think so. I think they got rid of that system after the ka24de.
Ther is no egr valve on the 2.2 turbo engines. With FI and turbo, there was no need. Some of the earlier carb engines did have egr.
The EGr valve can be difrent and is in difrent locations on the various engines
NoNo
Dodge didn't use EGR on the Magnum engines, it wasn't necessary.
These engines do not have EGR from 1996 to 2004, due to being able to pass without it. EGR returned in 2005.
EGR stands for "Exhaust Gas Recirculation". the 7.3 is a Diesel engine not a Gas engine. Diesel engines are not equipped with an EGR.
In most cases, I would say yes-- block off the EGR port with a small steel plate. There are some engines that the EGR design is too integrated, however. Try it, but with caution.
5.9 liter engines don't have egr valves thank god.
A 1997 Dakota did not use a 4.7L. The 3.9L, 5.2L, or 5.9L engines available in 1997 do not have EGR.
It does NOT come equipped with an EGR system.
Those engines all have one.
Worn piston rings and or clogged EGR system and or failed EGR valve
