no u dont but u will need at least a 6" socket exstension to reach the plugs u also have to take the coil packs off the top to get at 2 of the plugs

This should be similar to a 1995, on it you have to remove the intake manifold to access the plugs, I have had one mechanic tell me he had special tools to avoid the removal but I never saw them.
Basically you remove the throttle body, fuel rail, and anything else that is plugging into it, then unbolt it. You need to get a shop manual however, because there is a specific bolt pattern you need to use to avoid damage.

well i have a 98 sable with the duratec 24v v6 and everyone says remove the intake manifold-well folks dont do that cuz i just removed the 4 bolts holding in my disributer and that gave me acces to the back plugs! saved me time and money rather then removing intake manifold! took me bout an hour and i was done!

Isuzu rodeo 4 cylinder sparkplug changevery important remove the cables and sparkplugs 1 at a time so you wont confuse the cables later on. i got a 97 4 cylinder. you will need 2 small extensions to reach the sparkplugs. on the top right you will have to remove with a Philip screwdriver the air hose(aprox. 3" thick) to have easy access to the sparkplugs.
