transmission filer for a mazda 6 2006
The transmission cooler is built into the radiator, and the tubes on the cooler are leaking Trans. fluid into the engine coolant. Need to replace radiator.
There is a problem with the transmission and you need to get it to either honda or a mechanic.
According to http://en.wikibooks.org/wiki/Automobile_Repair/Honda/Odyssey/Change_engine_oil_and_filter, you need 5 quarts of oil.
I've searched the web... for 2005 Honda Odyssey, it should be changed every 30,000 miles. This can be done easily it as transmission drain plug. Also, note, that there is no serviceable transmission filter; therefore not need to change. Hope this helps.
In a 2000 Honda Odyssey, the transmission speed sensor is located on the transmission itself, typically on the driver's side. It is mounted near the transmission fluid pan and can be accessed from underneath the vehicle. To replace or inspect it, you'll often need to raise the vehicle for better access.
On a 2011 Dodge Journey, the transmission cooler is integrated into the radiator. It is typically located at the front of the vehicle, behind the grille, and is part of the radiator assembly. The transmission fluid passes through this cooler to help regulate its temperature while the engine is running. If you need to access it, you may need to remove the front fascia or radiator cover for better visibility.
The transmission filter for a 2009 Honda Odyssey is located inside the transmission, typically accessed by removing the transmission pan. To reach it, you will need to lift the vehicle and drain the transmission fluid, then remove the pan and filter. It's advisable to consult the vehicle's service manual for specific instructions or consider having a professional mechanic perform the service.
Is the transmission cooler fins clean and free of debris. Are you towing a heavy load? If so, I recommend you install a aftermarket transmission cooler. If it is getting hot and you are not towing, you need to seek out a professional to find out why it is getting hot. Do not continue to drive this vehicle or you will be spending big bucks for a new transmission. Heat is the biggest enemy of a transmission.
It's a warning to have your transmission checked. May need a fluid change, or worse. It happens with my '04 Odyssey after I get on the freeway, but only if I have to floor it which engages the passing gear.
