if its a v6 its on the driverside in back of engine on top has 2 ten mil bolts if its a 4cyl its on the right side on top of engine very easy to get at
The solenoid, on your 2001 Mitsubishi eclipse, is attached to the top of the starter. The solenoid is attached by four retaining screws to the starter.

The service manual does not specify the size. You might try asking the parts manager at a Mitsubishi dealership. Maybe their parts system would have the size.
the Egr Valve is located behind the the air intake (right in front of firewall) about 6 to 8 inches from the top, and it has two 10mm bolts one on top and one on bottom, make sure to take out the metal gasket upon removal. (do this when the engine is cool)
