I had this problem just the other day. After asking around I finally figured out that I had to change the oil pressure sensor. This sensor is located above the oil filter. I used a socket wretch to unscrew the old one and replace with a brand new sensor. This solved my problem. Hope this helps.
You probably need to get your oil changed?
The oil light could be blinking in an Isuzu Rodeo because it is time to get the oil changed. This could also occur if the oil is low.
put some oil in it then!!
I must not be getting oil.
Oil pump failure
A blinking gasoline light typically indicates that the fuel level in the tank is running low and needs to be refilled soon. It serves as a warning to avoid running out of gas and potentially damaging the engine.
needs oil change... needs oil change...
Your oil level may be low, CHECK IT.
top up the oil or change the oil sender unit ???
I'm having the same problem with my 96 golf
On the odometer, go to where it tells you OIL LIFE function... HOLD the button down for 10 seconds and it will start blinking at you. From there, you will hold the button down again for another 10 seconds and it will reset itself!
A low oil level can cause the oil light to blink on a 1995 Honda Prelude. A faulty sensor can also cause this.
