The thermostat on a Toyota Echo is located near the engine, typically at the engine block where the upper radiator hose connects. To access it, you'll need to remove the hose and the thermostat housing, which is usually secured by bolts. Make sure to allow the engine to cool before attempting to locate or replace the thermostat to avoid burns or injury.
