With the engine off, press and hold the mileage reset button on the instrument panel. Turn the key to "on" not start while still holding the button(10 to 30 secs.)It should reset the light. Don't reset this light without actually changing your oil though, that could be bad.

You can't reset that light...there is no such thing as a 2002 Honda Element...they didn't come out until 2003.
Get your oil changed, and have the service reminder reset.

There is a small black slot on the left of the guage cluster. Put your car key in there, it should reset the light!
