Remove the transmission oil dipstick, insert a funnel and pour it in. Be careful not to overfill, if you put a lot more (~1/2 a quart) than needed you risk blowing the front seal of the transmission. If it's an older vehicle you may want to just bring it to a mechanic who can vacuum the fluid out and put new stuff in. If you just remove the pan under the transmission and drain the fluid there can still be 2/3 of the oil left in the torque convertor.
go to a Honda dealership and get them to program it for you :)
DEXRON III fluid
use dex 3 and add a bottle of lube guard atf modifier. red cap black bottle
Same place you check the fluid level. Use only genuine Honda ATF DW1 and nothing else. Do not overfill.
You can add atf but you won't know how much to add or when it is full. This needs to be done on a lift in a garage by a mechanic.
You add fluid the same place you check the fluid level. You will need a special transmission funnel. Be sure and use only genuine Honda ATF DW-1 fluid and no other fluid that claims to be compatible.
Add atf through dip stick that u check the levels
The PS Reservoir is located in the engine bay and is marked "ATF Fluid Only." The ATF fluid I use for my 528i's PS is Redline D4 ATF, but you can use any Dexron 4 - grade ATF such as Mobile 1. Good luck.
Park the vehicle on a level surface and check the fluid level according to the manufactures recommended procedure as outlined in your owner's manual. You add fluid at the same place you check the fluid level. Make sure you use Honda ATF. Some other fluids may say they are the same but in my experience if you use another fluid you may experience shifting problems. Use on Honda ATF. Warning: Do not overfill!
It uses ATF+4It uses ATF+4
The 2005 and newer Odyssey have a center seat that is 1/2 the size of the other seats. There is nothing available in the early models in the way of a third seat.
Check the fluid level. If you have to add some make sure you use only genuine Honda ATF DW-1. If the fluid level is ok, then you need to seek professional help.
