How do you know it needs refrigerant? Is it cooling? My 2004 does not have a sight glass. Without a set of gauge's, there is no way of telling if you have the correct amount. I believe the difference between too little, satisfactory and too much is probably less than 6 oz.
I can't add it
You should use three liters of coolant in the Camry. If there is still room to add more fluid, then add water.
For 4 cylinder engine. The oil fill cap is located on the right side (facing the car). It is clearly marked engine oil.
Take it to an expert. You are not qualified nor do you have the equipment to do this.
When you are going to add Freon to a Toyota Camry, you need to know which type to add. You will need to put the Freon recharging coupler to the recharging kit, and get the engine to operating temperature. When the engine is at operating temperature put the air conditioning on the lowest setting and recharge the Freon with the windows of the car rolled down.
No, it does not. If you want to the ATF level then it needs to be running.
Probably down the dip stick tube.
A 1999 Toyota Camry LE will have a inlet for the transmission fluid located next to the transmission housing. Before adding fluid to the system it is important to drain the older fluid. Be sure to add the correct amount and avoid over filling the system.
4 quarts
Maximum towing capacity is 1000 pounds. Maximum carrying capacity of the car is 900 pounds; this includes the tongue weight of any trailer, the hitch or other external add-ons, occupants, luggage etc. Source: Owners manual of 2007 Camry with the standard four cylinder engine and automatic transmission.
A Toyota Camry can hold 6.7 quarts of coolant when it is bone dry. You should add the needed liquid so that it reads at full at all times.
You don't. If it needs refrigrant, it has a leak. Take this to a professional. You have neither the tools nor the expertise to repair.
