To add freon to a 2000 Suzuki Esteem, first locate the low-pressure service port, usually found on the larger diameter line between the compressor and evaporator. Ensure the engine is off and connect the refrigerant can's hose to the port. Start the engine and turn on the AC to the maximum setting, then slowly open the valve on the refrigerant can to add freon until the system reaches the recommended pressure. Always wear safety gear and consult the vehicle's manual for specific instructions and refrigerant type.

It contains no Freon. It contains R134a refrigerant and you add it to the low pressure port which is the larger pipe.
The 2000 Chevrolet Silverado truck has two ports on top of the air conditioner compressor. You will add Freon through the low pressure port.
There is one valve that is used to add refrigrant. But you had better not add Freon. Freon is R12 and your vehicle's A/C system does not have Freon (R12) as a refrigrant. More than likely it uses R134a.
On the suction side, the low side...................
It is either on or near the recievr dryer in the right rear of the engine compartment. To corrrectly add freon, you need gauges and a refrigerant recovery system
Its best to use a set of a/c gauges but if you are not then just add the freon to the low side which will be the larger hose (suction side)...

This is what I did for my Chevy prism 2000, it works fine: http://www.id-usa.com/how_to_recharging.asp
To add Freon to the AC system of a 1996 Suzuki Sidekick, locate the low-pressure service port, which is typically found on the larger diameter aluminum line running from the compressor to the evaporator. The port is usually capped with a plastic or metal cover. Use a refrigerant charging kit to attach the hose to this port, then follow the instructions on the refrigerant can to add Freon to the system. Always ensure the AC is running during the recharge process for optimal results.
You don't. The 2000 Saturn refrigerant is not Freon R12 it contains R134a. Add it at the Low pressure port. You have a leak or it would not be necessary to add refrigerant. It is illegal to add refrigerant to a system with a leak without first repairing the leak. Take it to a professional and have the leak fixed.
If that is all that you want to do then just add it on the low side service port that is located on the a/c accumulator...................
