How do you change a Subaru Outback wheel bearing?

prior to 2004 the factory was screwing up the rear wheel bearings in the manufacturing process and they failed prematurely and regularly

Dealers were sent a special tool for their presses so they wouldn't damage the new ones in the install. Dealers do it for about $100
