underneath the steering column where the actual brake pedal is there is a switch unplugg it and loosen the bolt closest to the steering wheel which is to lock it in place then unscrew the actual switch . The plug has a clip, press in and the plug slides out easily. The switch then unscrews easily. Install switch by threading new switch into bracket until the bolt reaches the bracket, the break light button at top should be depressed against brake, then clip plug into the new switch.

This switch is $32.00 at any Honda dealer and most importantly YOU can change it yourself. Ironically, that same switch activates the gear shifter pin that lets you take it in and out of gear.
