Your questing is a bit vague, are you needing to change the headlamp itself? or just the bulb? You will also need to know if you have an EDM, JDM, or USDM impreza, as the headlight assemblies varied from country to country. For the bulb, you twist the bulb balast located on the back of the headlight assembly 1/4 turn clockwise and pull it straight out. If you need to replace the headlamp assbly, you have to take off the entire grill, the 2 pieces on either side of the grill and then there are several bolts that hold them in, after that it's kind of like a wiggle game to get them the rest of the way out. If you have HID headlights, please disregard my answer.
