On the lower right side of the firewall roughly behind the glove box. You must remove the glove box door and then remove several dash mounting screws/bolts from the lower dash framework to get at the black plastic door that holds the filter. Sounds complicated but if you're halfway handy with tools, it really isn't. Could they have engineered it better? Yeah... probably so.
