Yes. It is a direct fit. Nissan didn't change the rear hatch and they are interchangeable. 1984-86 won't have the third brake light. 1987-1989 will and you'll have to wire that in if you want it to be operable.
In a race between a 1989 Nissan 300ZX and an Acura Integra, the 300ZX would likely have the advantage due to its more powerful engine and sports car design. The 300ZX typically features a V6 engine with significantly higher horsepower compared to the Integra, which usually has a smaller four-cylinder engine. While the Integra is known for its agility and handling, the raw power of the 300ZX would likely lead it to victory in a straight-line race.
i was wondering if my Nissan maxima has a filter i can change myself 1989 model
Check your fuses.
because that is just the type of car that does that.
Not very many. Nissan was changing over their assembly lines to build the new 300ZX (Z32) so about the end of 1988 they were actually building the last Z31s. If you own a 1989 Z you have a rare car because there were so few built. Just so you know, there were NO changes to the car for 1989, not even cosmetic changes, they are identical to the 1988s.
Go to this link: http://www.thumper300zx.com/z32/boostleaks/vacuum_hose_guide.htm This should give you all the info you need :)
On a 1989 Nissan 300ZX, the diagnostic connector is located under the dashboard, near the driver's side. Specifically, it can be found to the left of the steering column, often near the fuse box. It's a rectangular connector that can be used for connecting a diagnostic scanner or jumper wire for troubleshooting.
To replace the heater core in a 1984-1989 Nissan 300ZX, first disconnect the battery and drain the coolant. Remove the dashboard and the center console to access the heater core. Detach the heater hoses from the core, unbolt it from the housing, and then install the new heater core by reversing the disassembly steps. Reconnect all components, refill the coolant, and check for leaks.
the fuze box is on the driver side kick panel, top two fuzes on left side of box ,both should be 10 amp, i dont belive this is your problem tho, would need more info as to type of 300z
Yes it will definitely fit since it is the same motor in the 89. The Z31 model was from 1984 to 1989. The Z32 model (2nd gen 300zx) was from 1990 to 1996. (barbie car commercial)
