ok soooo..... first u take all of the plastic trim off the top of the light. there should be a black plastic piece that covers the top of the light after u open ur trunk. and also the gray plastic piece that goes across the trunk latch should come off. after u got that off, unscrew the two phillips style screws from the top of the light assembly. on the inside of the trunk, peel back the carpet liner. it should be held by plastic pins which come right out. once u get the carpet liner off, on the inside of the trunk, there should be two black plastic clips where the fender is. pinch those clips while sliding the actual tail light out away from the fender like a sliding door. it should come out about a half inch. from there u just pull directly out towards the bumper. it may feel like ur gonna break it but it wont break. just make sure u have a hold of the solid pieces of the tail light. DONT grab any weak plastic or something may break. ur tail light should com out. THERE U GO!!!!! it took me about an hour to actually realize what to do. this should shorten ur time
