Follow the upper raditor hose to the point where it enters the block. There will be a round housing held in place by two bolts. This is the thermostat housing. Tools Needed: Adjustable pliers (Or a hose clamp tool), 10mm socket (Preferably 8, 10, 12, 14), Ratchet, Screwdrivers. 1. Drain radiator 2. Remove upper radiator hose from theromstat housing. May require removal of air intake. 3. Remove retaining bolts on thermostat housing. 4. Remove housing and thermostat. 5. Replace gasket and install new thermostat. Note pinhole to ensure correct direction. 6. Reinstall all removed parts. 7. Fill radiator. 8. Start engine and check for leaks. 9. Bleed system and top off. 10. Maintain awareness of temperature until satisfied fix is what was wrong.
