This depends on wich engine is in the vehicle. The 1.6 and 2.0 petrol are timing chains. the 2.0 and 2.3 diesels have belts. the timing marks are as follows:

2.0 diesel: cam and injection pump marks should be at 11 o'clock. crankshaft mark at 2 o'clock with keyway at 12 o'clock.

2.3 diesel: same as 2.0 diesel.
