I had the same problem, but I found it finally!!! The dipstick is on the passenger side of the engine compartment . It looks differant than a standard dipstick. It has a black cap and a lockbolt . IT IS UNDER A HARNESS loosen the bolt and pull out the dipstick!! Make sure you use Nissan fluid

You can't check the transmission fluid. This is a sealed system with no user access.
