where is the ECU on Daewoo Matiz 1999
i had the very same problem on my 1999 matiz,it was a broken wire on the fuel injector.(i'd changed the distributor cap, fuel filter, plugs etc before finding out it was this)hope this helps.
it's underneath the handbrake/ gearstick console between front seats.
open the upper timing belt cover the first thing lower to crankshaft is water pump.
Camshaft will be broken and inlet/outlet valves will be damaged. engin must be rebuilt or replaced.
51U provided it is the M100 model 1999-2004 i think, they only do one colour of golden/yellow for this age
You don't clean the oil filter you replace it.
I see no listing for the Daewoo Matiz. Other Daewoos are all Interferance engines, and as such if the belt breaks severe engine damage will occur. Here are other Daewoo models and the specs in miles for belt replacement. Find your engine and it will be the same. Lanos 1999-02 1.6L 4-Cyl. To replace the heater hose on a 1999 Daewoo Matiz, first, ensure the engine is cool and disconnect the negative battery terminal. Locate the heater hoses connected to the engine and the heater core; use a pair of pliers to loosen and remove the clamps. Replace the old hose with a new one, ensuring it fits securely, then reattach the clamps. Finally, reconnect the battery terminal and check for leaks after starting the engine.
To set the timing marks on a 1999 Daewoo Matiz, you typically align the crankshaft and camshaft marks. The crankshaft mark is usually at the 12 o'clock position, while the camshaft mark should be aligned with its corresponding mark on the cylinder head. Ensure that the engine is at top dead center (TDC) on the compression stroke for cylinder one. Always refer to the specific service manual for detailed diagrams and specifications for accuracy.
Daewoo ended in 1999.
Daewoo Express was created in 1999.
