It is located over your head in the panel that controls the garage, sun roof, etc. Use something flat such as a butter knife and pry on the side closest to the back of the car. Once that is down, there are 3 cables that you will disconnect. THEN you will need a 8mm socket to unscrew 4 bolts. (i used pliers) Once the 4 screws have been removed, the inner case will pop free. In that case is another cable. This is the cable that plugs directly into the HFL. Simply pull it out.
