On an Eclipse GS.........the "GS" stands for Grand Sport
No. The gs is the base eclipse spyder model.
Full name of Eclipse is Mitsubishi Eclipse (GS, RS, GT)... You need to correct your question.
The Mitsubishi GS does not come with turbo...... ^^^^^^ Idiot... The Eclipse GS did come turbo, surprisingly it was called the Eclipse GS-T, I wonder what the T stands for. Now, with that out of the way, the firing order is 1-3-4-2..

Buy a gsx and sell the gs would be the best. or try and find a wreaked gsx with all the important parts intact and swap it over
It's probably 2.4L. The standard engine on the 1998 Eclipse GS is the 2.0 L I4 140 HP engine. The 2.4 L engine is not available on the GS, but is abvailable for the GS Spyder.
