If you have this code, then most likely you will have to replace the Powertrain Control Module (PCM) or Engine Control Module (ECM), but however you can replace this yourself but you have to take the vehicle back to the dealership so that they can program it correctly. (Vehicle will not run, and will need to be towed to dealership) Considering that the dealership is the only ones who apparently have access to the machine that programs the computer. What a bummer. Good Luck!!!

To fix the P0705 code related to the transmission range sensor switch circuit malfunction in a 2007 Suzuki Forenza, first, visually inspect the wiring and connectors associated with the transmission range sensor for any damage or corrosion. Next, test the sensor itself for proper function using a multimeter, ensuring it provides the correct voltage readings in each gear position. If the sensor is faulty, replace it; if not, check the vehicle's transmission control module and associated circuits for additional issues. Finally, clear the code and perform a road test to ensure the problem is resolved.
