You take it off just like any other steering wheel
A steering wheel is hard to remove by hand. It can be removed with a tool called the steering wheel remover found at local auto shops.
To remove a steering wheel, a person will need a steering wheel puller from an auto part store, from there after the airbag is removed, place the tool over the steering wheel and follow its directions. It will pull the steering wheel off by applying pressure to the middle and pulling everything else up.
Assuming a left steering wheel model, There is a panel that pulls off down and to the left of the steering wheel. Pop it off and the fuses are labelled on the back. They are back in there a little. Cruizer
you need a steering wheel puller to get it off.
take horn button off of the steering wheel and you will see a large nut holding the wheel on, take the nut off and then you will need a steering wheel puller to get the wheel off it's splines.
You have broken wires in the tilt wheel. You will need to take the steering wheel off and start looking for a broken wire in the steering column somewhere. You will have to have a steering wheel puller to get it off.
You have to turn the car off and turn it back on. This didn't work immediately for me, but I moved the car back and forth a little, and then it started. Just turning it on and off wasn't enough.
pull the center pad off the wheel and then take the nut off that holds the wheel on and then get a steering wheel puller and hook it up and pull the wheel off the splines.
To take the steering wheel off to get to the horn a person needs a steering wheel puller. It will remove the steering wheel by applying pressure to the middle and pulling up on the rest.
Take the nut of the steering wheel under the horn and use a puller to get it off
Remove horn ring or button (twist to remove) Remove center bolt on steering wheel Mark location of wheel in relation to steering column shaft for proper re-install Get and attach a steering wheel puller Tighten nut on wheel puller until steering wheel "pops" off
One can replace a steering wheel by taking the top cap off, remove the screws, pull the steering off and then one can place the new steering wheels into the steering bracket.
