1. locate ECU under driver's seat. it has three electrical connectors and a recessed green programming button on the side facing the door.
2. turn on the key
3. press green reprogramming button for three to four seconds and release.
4. within 5 seconds, press and hold the top or bottom button on the key FOB. you will hear clicking under the hood, lights will flash, and a short peizo alarm will sound. if you hold the key fob button too long, the alarm will sound. press the button again to turn the alarm off.
make sure to release the green button then press the remote key. if you combine these steps, it all works as advertised except the key fob will not reprogram.
