This requires a long small tipped funnel. The transmission dipstick is located on the drivers side of the engine in between the air intake hose and the battery. The handle is usually black. you will need to remove the dipstick, insert the funnel and poor the fluid. Before you do that you may want to check the fluid level first. if the car engine temp is cold (car has not been running) you check it while the car is off. If the engine is warm (normal operating temperature) you check it while the car is running. do not overfill the trans fluid, if its between the designated hashes do not add.
P.S. trans additives will only help for a short amount of time
What Mazda is it? I can find out for you.
Dexron II (or III) is the recommended automatic transmission fluid for a 1994 Mazda Navajo. It requires 3 quarts to do a fluid change.
down the dipstick tube
Fill the transmission filter with transmission fluid before you put the new transmission filter on. You probably will not need to add any transmission fluid.
Through the dipstick filler tube
I know if you have an auto transmission v6 Mazda mx6 93. You can put the transmission fluid in a 1993 Mazda Mx6 v6 from where you check the dip of transmission fluid. It is located close to the battery and close to the fuel filter. Its cap is orange color. For the manual transmission, you have to look under neath of the car, there is a bolt for drain and a bolt for to fill. Look around it, you will see it.
I remove the transmission dip stick and insert a funnel to fill it right there.
Mazda Millenia 95 not starting put another motor in it just turning over? its probably the distributor is bad.
dextron3 with mercron
One of those plastic syphons with the squeezer in the middle, should be able to suck the excess from the filler tube.

In the transmission.
